Jarrod here…
This morning, conditions had improved somewhat (Capt.
announced today that swells were as high as 28 feet and winds at 55 kts
overnight). We saw satellite images today, and we are sailing through a
depression that’s over a thousand miles wide. Weather did worsen again some
throughout the course of the day. We should be north of the storm by tomorrow
and have calm seas the rest of the way to Ireland. With the storm and cold, we
stayed in for the day. Strolled around the ship, visited with some friends, had
a couple of drinks, saw a movie, had a great dinner, went to a game show and
called it a night. Hoping for some nicer weather tomorrow.
